Today the anonymous household decided to leave the household to just get out. Anonymous had mentioned that he would like some confections so we all got in the car. About 3/4 of the way to our destination I notice smoke or some-other type or particulate filling the cab of the car. My first thought is “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! The car is on fire!” About the same time that my face was registering my shock Anonymous also became aware that things were awry. Eventually the freeway noise deadens somewhat and we hear a hissing sound and out of the corner of my eye I see that Sean has something.
Since I was driving the car I was not able to readily turn around and see what it was. Luckily Anonymous was able to twist in his seat and knock out of Sean’s hands a can of Neutrogena spray sunblock. Luckiest of all was Sean who had gotten the spray can out of the backpack and press the trigger avoiding his face and eyes all together merely emptying the contents of the can in our direction.
So on the Westbound 210 we opened the windows and allowed the vapor(s) to escape. Took about 3 to 4 exits for the smell to leave! I can only imagine what it looked like to those behind us. I then found the situation profoundly funny and proceeded to laugh and laugh and laugh!
